Wills Made Easy Canada

Accessibility

Last updated: May 2026

Wills Made Easy is committed to ensuring that our website and services are accessible to all Canadians, including people with disabilities. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to estate planning services, and we are continuously working to improve the experience for all users.

Our Commitment

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines help make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

What We've Done

We have taken the following steps to improve accessibility on our website:

  • Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard alone.
  • Colour contrast — text and UI elements meet minimum contrast ratios to support users with low vision or colour blindness.
  • Semantic HTML — we use proper heading structure, landmark regions, and descriptive labels to support screen readers.
  • Alt text — images include descriptive alternative text where applicable.
  • Responsive design — the site is fully functional on mobile devices and scales to support browser text size adjustments.
  • Focus indicators — visible focus states are maintained throughout the site for keyboard users.

In-Person Appointment Accessibility

We are committed to ensuring our in-person appointment experience is also accessible:

  • If you require a specific location due to mobility or accessibility needs, please contact us when booking and we will do our best to accommodate you.
  • If you require a support person, interpreter, or other accommodation at your appointment, please let us know in advance.
  • Appointments can be conducted at locations accessible to wheelchair users where available.

Known Limitations

While we work hard to meet accessibility standards, some areas of our website are still being improved. Known limitations include:

  • Some third-party booking and form tools embedded in the site may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We are working with our providers to address these gaps.

Feedback and Contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our website and services. If you experience any barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:
